Terms of use

These terms of use apply to your access to and use of the ColouRight Paints website. By using this website, you agree to follow these terms and any related notices published here from time to time.

1. Who operates this website

This website is operated by Astros Marketing (Pty) Ltd on behalf of ColouRight Paints, with business activity centred in Korsten, Gqeberha and supported by branches in Joburg and Cape Town. For all website-related queries, you may use our contact form.

These terms apply to all visitors, including homeowners, contractors, decorators and trade account holders. If you do not agree with these terms, you should stop using the website immediately.

2. Use of the site and acceptable conduct

You may use this website for lawful purposes only and in a manner that does not interfere with other users, the site’s security or our business operations. You must not use any part of the website to submit false information, attempt unauthorised access, introduce harmful code or misuse contact forms and quotation requests.

  • You may not copy, scrape or republish any site content without written permission.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity, company or project needs.
  • Do not send unlawful, abusive or misleading material through our contact channels.

3. Product information, colour matching and quotations

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, colour matching guidance, stock indications and service information, including custom tinting, sample pot mixing, surface prep advice and trade order support. However, colours may vary between screen display, batch production, lighting conditions and the substrate being painted. Final selection should always be confirmed in person or by sample where possible.

Any quotation, estimate or bulk quantity planning guidance is provided for information only and may change before order confirmation. This applies especially where surface condition, coastal humidity, repaint preparation or municipal compliance requirements affect product use or coverage.

  • Trade advice is based on the details provided by the customer.
  • All quantities are subject to final measurement and site conditions.
  • Product recommendations may change if availability or application needs change.

4. Orders, payment and availability

Orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. We may limit quantities, decline orders or request additional information where needed for safety, supply or account verification purposes. Prices may change without prior notice unless a written quotation states otherwise.

Payment terms for trade customers, contractor accounts and bulk supply requests are governed by the relevant account agreement, if applicable. Until full payment is received, all goods remain subject to our standard trading conditions and any applicable collection rules.

5. Intellectual property and content rights

All text, photographs, product descriptions, colour references, logos, page layouts and downloadable material on this website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless stated otherwise. You may view and print pages for personal or internal business use only.

  • You may not reproduce or publish site content for commercial use without permission.
  • You may not remove copyright notices or attribution marks.
  • Any unauthorised use of content may result in legal action.

6. Liability, updates and governing law

We take reasonable care to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content or uninterrupted stock information. To the fullest extent allowed by South African law, we are not liable for indirect loss, business interruption, loss of profit or damage arising from reliance on website content where such loss could reasonably have been avoided.

We may update these terms from time to time without notice. Continued use of the website after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be dealt with in a competent South African court.
