How branch collections work
Collections are available from our branches in Korsten, with support for customers coming from Walmer, Newton Park and surrounding Gqeberha areas, plus Joburg and Cape Town branch points. If you are collecting a mixed order, please wait for the confirmation that your tinting and stock are ready so you do not waste a trip.
For most standard collections, bring your order reference, proof of payment if needed, and if possible the empty container or colour sample you used for matching. When the order includes several tins or decorator supplies, we can help load items at the counter. A quick call or send us a message before you leave often saves time, especially on busy month-end mornings.
- Collect during branch trading hours only
- Bring order details and a contact number
- Check your vehicle space before arrival for 20 L tins or bulk packs
- Ask for loading assistance if you have a large or heavy order
Local delivery for homes and businesses
We arrange local delivery for suitable orders in Gqeberha, Johannesburg and Cape Town service areas, including Korsten, Walmer, Newton Park, Sandton, Randburg and Bellville. Delivery is useful when you are managing contractors, working to a deadline, or dealing with weather changes and do not want paint sitting in the back of a bakkie all day.
Delivery is usually planned around order size, route and access at the property. If your site has narrow access, security gate checks or limited parking, tell us in advance. This helps us plan the drop properly and avoid delays at the gate or security office.
- Street access and delivery instructions should be shared upfront
- Someone should be available to receive and check the goods
- We recommend a shaded offload point where possible for heat sensitive items
- Coastal humidity in places like Gqeberha can affect storage, so prompt offload is best
Bulk paint orders and trade planning
For larger jobs, we help with bulk quantity planning before the order is packed. This is especially useful for contractors, body corporates, landlords and commercial maintenance teams who need several colours, matched batches or repeat supply. We can talk through coverage, extra tins for touch-ups and how much to hold back for future repairs.
When you send in a plan or measurements, include the number of rooms, wall heights, surface condition and whether you are repainting over dark colour. That lets us guide you on the right quantity and packaging. It also reduces the risk of short counts, which is a pain once the team is already on site.
- We can assist with repaint troubleshooting before delivery
- Trade orders can be staged for collection or local drop-off
- Ask about contractor account help for repeat purchases
- Keep one labelled spare tin from the same batch for future patches
Matching, tinting and sample pots before dispatch
If your order includes colour matching or custom tinting, it is best to finalise the sample first and then move to the full quantity. Our colour matching specialist can work from an existing painted chip, a clean offcut or a sample pot request for a small test patch. This is handy when you are trying to line up old interior colours or keep external repainting consistent across multiple units.
We also do sample pot mixing for smaller checks before you commit to a bigger order. For complex jobs, we may suggest a test area on the wall first because lighting, sheen and surface porosity can change the final look quite a bit. If the colour needs adjusting, we can sort that before the rest of the paint leaves the branch.
What to expect on collection day
On the day of collection, arrive with enough time to check the order and ask about application advice if needed. Our team can talk you through surface prep, product recommendations and how to handle tricky conditions like chalky plaster, damp corners or exterior walls that get strong afternoon sun. In some cases, it is better to collect in the morning so your materials are not sitting in a hot vehicle all day.
Please inspect your order before leaving the branch. If anything looks incorrect, let us know immediately so we can sort it while you are still there. It is much easier to fix a tint issue at collection than after you have already sent the crew to site.
- Check colour name, sheen and quantity before leaving
- Make sure tins are sealed and labelled
- Ask for loading help if lifting is awkward
- Keep your invoice and colour reference for reorders
How to arrange your order
The quickest way to set up collection or delivery is to send a message through our contact form with your name, contact number, branch area and the products you need. If you already know the colour, include the reference. If you do not, send a photo or a small sample and we will guide you from there.
For larger or time-sensitive jobs, give us your preferred date, site address and any access notes. We will then advise the best branch route and whether collection or delivery makes more sense. That way your paint arrives when you actually need it, not two days later when the crew has moved on.
